Unlock Your Blackberry For Free

Especially if you have a slightly older model, like a Curve, unlocking your Blackberry so it works on any network is now very simple and there really is no need to pay anyone to do it for you. Don’t worry if you’ve never unlocked a phone in your life, this is free, easy and if you follow the instructions carefully there is no danger of losing any data or damaging your device.

You’ll just need a few pieces of information in order to complete the process, the IMEI code, the PRD number and about 48 hours worth of patience.

As with most phones, you can obtain your IMEI code by simply dialling *#06# from the Blackberry you want to unlock, write this down or type it out in notepad and copy it to your clipboard.

If you are wanting to unlock your Blackberry, you probably just got a new SIM and want to use it on a device that was previously locked to another network, so take the old SIM out and put the new one in, this will probably mean taking the back and the battery off your device, so while you area doing this make a note of the PRD number, it will be the digits after ìPRDî written somewhere on the top of the UPC sticker that sits under the battery.

Once your new SIM is in, replace the battery and cover and turn the Blackberry on. It will recognise that the SIM is not accepted by the locked phone and prompt you for an MEP code. All you really need to do now is enter the correct number to unlock your Blackberry, and it will work, the MEP code is unique to each Blackberry, so to get it you need to use an online service. So turn your Blackberry off and go get that MEP code.

Freemyblackberry.com is currently free and working perfectly, but these sites can come and go, so searching for ìfree MEP blackberry codeî will generally bring results.

Visit the website freemyblackberry.com and you should already have all the information you need. Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and complete the Generate your unblock code box. Input your email address, IMEI code and pick the model of your Blackberry from the drop down list. After a moment you will be prompted for your PRD code, input this and tick the Free Code box, then click submit. You will be provided with a link that in 48 hours time will provide you with the MEP code you need. You can use the Instant Service but there is a charge associated with this.

You now need to apply the 48 hours worth of patience. Make a note of the link you are provided with and come back in 2 days. Once you have your MEP code, turn your Blackberry on again and enter your code when prompted. That’s all you need to do, your Blackberry should now be unlocked and accept SIMS from any provider.

WIFI Technology

The fast paced technology has changed the world as well as its habitants. In Today’s global village there is no need to grab the telephone receiver and dial a specific number to transmit voice through cables merely to hear the voice of a beloved. Now each of us carries our own handsets with a built-in phonebook and text messages. The facilities like Wi-Fi have further improved the standard of communications by cutting down expenditure and increasing availability.

No matter where you are, you can access the world of web through your handsets and your laptops and your iPads. You might not have noticed what it is but the technology that enables you to plug in internet without any wires whether you are in a cafe, a library, a shopping mall or an airport is Wi-Fi – the wireless network also known as 802.11. The circumference where wireless technology is present and available to the users is known as Hotspot. The inexpensive, user-friendly WiFi networks are also obtrusive; if you do not need one you would not know there exists any. Wi-Fi could be also installed in home or offices in order to transmit information over the air without the aid of wires. In near future you would find wireless networking available in every nook and corner.

Wi-Fi is derived from the decades old term Hi-Fi that stands for the output’s type produced by quality music hardware. WiFi Technology is WIRELESS FIDELITY and stands for all those technologies that fall under the specifications of IEEE 802.11 including 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g. The association of the term Wi-Fi with various technologies is merely because of the promotions made by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
For those whose laptops and cell phones do not have a built-in wireless transmitter then you could purchase a wireless adaptor and inject it into USB port. A Wi-Fi hotspot is automatically discovered and connected by the transmitters. The presence of Wi-Fi in public places makes it convenient to stay connected to your official tasks or to the social networking.

Wi-Fi is also associated with 802.11 networking. The reference is derived from IEEE – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers uses the numbering system for classifying a range of technological protocols.

Wi-Fi steps into the boots of TV and radio in order to transmit data through radio waves. The two-way radio communication: the wireless adapter translates data into a radio signal then transmits it via antenna; and the signal is received and decoded by the wireless router that uses a tangible wired Ethernet connection to send information to the internet. The equation is reversed when wireless router receives data from the internet and translates it into a signal where the wireless adaptor receives the signal and decodes it.

Wi-Fi communication devices are extended forms of radios used for cell phones and walkie-talkies: they simultaneously transmit and receive radio waves and convert 1s to 0s into the radio waves along with reconverting the radio waves into 1s and 0s, however the Wi-Fi radios enjoy some exceptional features.
